All regular employees who work a minimum of 30 hours per week are eligible to participate in Sares Regis's benefit plans. Eligible employees and dependents will be able to participate on the first of the month following date of hire. You may enroll your eligible dependents in the benefit programs as well. Eligible dependents are defined as:
Regular full-time or part-time employees are eligible for benefits on the first of the month following or coinciding with one month of employment. You must enroll within 30 days of your hire date to ensure you have immediate access to your benefits.
Open Enrollment offers you the opportunity to make changes in your benefit elections. Open Enrollment typically occurs in November, and the benefits you choose will be in effect for the next plan year. Each year you will be notified of the Open Enrollment period and you will receive an overview of any significant changes that are being made to the benefit plans.
Other than the above situations, you cannot make enrollment changes during the plan year unless you have an IRS-approved “change of family status”
